About Us

Inspire Club, a club under Centre for University Social Responsibilities
(CENSERVE), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM

is formerly known as Karisma Club.

It was established on 21th February 2001 by Dr. Asyraf Wajdi Hj Dusuki.
The motto of this club is “Ar-Ruhban fil-Lail wal-Fursan fin-Nahr”, an Arabic
maxim which literally means “like a preacher who worship at night, and like a horse
running fast on the battlefield during the day”. Precisely, this verse means Inspire
Club wish that each member will try their best to balance their study and
humanitarian mission as well as to balance the worldly affairs and hereafter
endeavours.

In addition, the vision of the club is to develop a world class leader
while its mission is to help problematic teenagers through motivational programs.
Further, the objective of this club is to enhance the quality and potentiality of
university students who will serve as facilitators while studying in the university.
Inspire Club aims to inculcate the spirit of humanity among students towards the
community.

We believe that by the concept of “down to earth”, the desire ambition to
help teenagers in the community will be realized since the group represents the
majority of the public. Further, it will help the students to understand the real
meaning of life based on the reality that exists in society nowadays.

Aiming to expose the teenagers that they are the leader of the future, we hope
that the impacts of our club’s programs will indirectly change the negative perception
of the society towards the teenagers who are usually being regarded as immoral and
always cause problems.
